Founders Peer Group

May 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

If you are a founder in the food & beverage industry, BCFB welcomes you to join your fellow peers in our Founders Peer Group on May 8th, 2025.

Join us for an engaging session on Channel Management led by our co-chairs, Mara Mennicken and Kenny Vannucci. We’ll define what a channel is and explore their various pricing structures, using your insights to guide the discussion. Our goal is to understand how to balance channels effectively to achieve both scalability and profitability, and how to tweak them to ensure sustainable growth for your business.

This workshop is designed to provide valuable insights and actionable strategies that will strengthen your approach to channel management. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from each other and enhance your business strategies for the long term.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understanding Channels: Gain clarity on what constitutes a channel and how different pricing structures impact your overall strategy.
  • Balancing Act for Growth: Learn how to harmonize various channels to ensure they work together, maximizing both scalability, profitability, and sustainable success.
  • Collaborative Insights: Leverage the collective expertise of your peers to identify best practices and innovative approaches to channel management.

About Our Co-Chairs:

  • Mara Mennicken is a pioneering social entrepreneur & chocolate devotee renowned for founding The GOOD Chocolatier. Hailing from Germany 10 years ago and now stirring up delectable creations in British Columbia, Canada, she’s on a mission to prove that chocolate can be indulgent, highly ethical, and incredibly GOOD for you. Mara continues to reshape the narrative of chocolate production and consumption for a brighter, more conscientious future. Her favourite equation is: Eating more GOOD chocolate = better You and a better World.
  • Kenny Vannucci, Podcast Host of This Commerce Life, has spent his life in retail. He worked the front line in customer service and retail management, in the warehouses picking and packing orders, and has worked in a corporate office as a merchandise manager. He knows how a buyer thinks and what the triggers are. Kenny knows how to spot emerging and how to maintain/grow existing companies.
